We purchased a home in feb and with it come a hot tub. We cleaned the filter and fille dit up and it was great for like 3 days. sooner or later we go to start it up and it flashes FLO and TEMP of and on. the next time we turn it on, no power.
What should I check?
check the access door . there is a safty switch there that have to be alined or it will not turn on . it looks like a magnet fuse? that's what was wrong next to mine.
Every tub installed in the U.S. in the last eight years should have have a GFI circuit breaker installed. Sounds like one leg has died. Have an electrician check the power surrounded by the box in the base of the tub.
If you did not capture all the air out of the system when you bursting it, you could have burned out the heater. Look for a small tap that lets air out, after check the electricity.

Answers: Yes check to mak sure the GFI have not tripped. Next check the sc-25(Orange) or sc-30(Green) fuse or fuses and replace and the power will at least come back on. Next see if it have door magnets, (very very few do anymore) and they make contact. After that hold out your filters and turn the power off consequently on. If the FLO message is still there then enjoy someone "jump" the pressure switch. (most likely the case for the "FLO" message, since they backfire often since it's made of rubber) If it is still there you have need of to replace your circuit board which in some cases can be extremely expensive.
It's that simple. If you get into trouble grain free to email or call.
