Our hot tub won't heat up past 72. We push the temp button but nil happens. Everything else about the hot tub works.

Any suggestions on what to check so we don't hold to pay someone to come out??

Answers:    It's the hot tub that's helping you stay happily surrounded by love! LOL

The hot tub has a built-in heating factor, it's either that, or the control for it that is on the fritz. If your handy beside an electrical meter you can access the wiring and try to trouble-shoot it yourself. If there is any warranty departed though, you may void it if you mess with it yourself.
I'd hang around for the repair person.
