a friend of mine has a hot tub that the pump is out of commission properly. this is what it does, when hooked up the correct way the pump will not switch to low, and when we turn the wires around it will single operate on low. the pump will not switch back and forth approaching it should when you hit the air switch. i checked the atmosphere switch and i can hear it click when we hit the button but the motor will not switch. i hope that everyone can understand my ask.
Answers: Well unlike the other person..I am going to report you that you have a latest tub, fewer afterwards 4 years old...I bet newer.and that untried tub has a spring that have broken in it. So it cannot switch to low when it should. I will further dare to speak it is most likey an Ultima pump.Am I correct? email me... Laughing...stating the obvious it have nothing to due near the obvious...power...
I contemplate I understand as I enjoy a hot tub. If your tub is like mine, the low speed jet should run continuously until the timer turns them off. The giant speed jets solely run when you push the air switch and you push the switch again to turn them bad. In other words, the air switch should control the large speed and the timer control box should control the low speed. Your controls may be different and possibly you enjoy switches for both low and high. In that defence my answer doesn't help. It basically sounds like you haven't get the connections quite right.
