Hot Tub a Lost Cause? My boyfriend has a hot tub from he 80's i imagine its...

My boyfriend has a hot tub from he 80's i imagine its an Esther Williams. It has a melt out control board, the part beside all the relays and hot wires. It apparently hasnt workd surrounded by years, but he wont get rid of it,any,he's just resembling that . My question: can I spawn lemonade out of this lemon...(err.. not in it..eww).Is near a easy path to replace this main control panel cheaply or would it be a best bet to enjoy it disappear while he's at work and replaced with a contemporary one? :o) Any websites you can show me that might offer a global replacement board? I am a mechanically and electronically inclined, but not outstandingly talented. Thanks so much!
Answers:    Absolutely repair it. Balboa make a few different replacement packs that are graceful to install. The VS series. www.balboadirect.com and you can see them. I do this 3-5 times a week, since the cost of a new pack that comes next to a heater and alien topside controls sometimes is cheaper then a circuit board. Shop around the network and save money. What you requirement to know is what your tub has, 1 or 2 pumps, blower etc... Feel free to email a photo and I can glibly tell you which one is needed.

Sorry but the answer above mine won't work, since the create no longer stocks those parts and they aren't made anymore. Haven't been for years.

The nice part of a set is you will have a 2-3 year warranty! The pack should be 650-750.
Oh boy, I don't know, I regard hot tubs are money pits, and I speak from experience. Finally, cut ours in partially and hauled it to the dump ending year. However, we did buy a whole alien board, pump and heater that be called a Brett pack and it last for years. It wasn't cheap in the olden days, nearly $800 and I had a tech install it.
