Hot sea pipes vibrate when tap unscrew.? When running the hot water through the tap at medium to large...

When running the hot water through the tap at medium to large pressure (both upstairs and downstairs) after about 1 minute the pipes starts to rummble / jerk quit loudly, the only passageway to stop this rummling is to immediatley run the cold water slap at high pressure. When the hot wet is run off at low pressure near is no rumbling. The hot water comes from a storage container located upstairs that is heated by our boiler, Ideal Classic NF40. This is not a combination boiler.

Could it be the hot sea system that requires bleeding ? as this only started to ensue about 1 - 2 months after have the water pipes relocated within the kitchen, or could that just be a coincidence.

If the hot hose system does require bleeding, does anyone know where and how to do this ? Any back would be appreciated.

Note: The central heat system is totaly unaffected by this and works without blemish.
Answers:    Its what we plumbers call wet hammer, the bubble valve on cold wet tank desires re-washered as it is not cutting bad properly, try fitting a new globe valve this proposal costs fifty pounds by the way and another fifty if its a telephone call back .
This is cause by the cold water pipe vibrate as the storage tank is refill.
The solution is to purchase some 15mm pipe clips from your local plumber's merchant, and fit them on to the cold water supply pipe that runs to the storage container
