Hot marine heat system---circulator making echo? I have a hot marine heating system which is in the order...

I have a hot marine heating system which is in the order of 8 years old. It heat two floors including basement suites. IT works fine except that the circulator or pump make noise on and past its sell-by date. First it was a whistle noise afterwards it changed to a different more rough noise. It go quiet on its own and consequently starts all over again for a 10 minutes or so and next quiet again. I dont know what the problem is and how to fix it.
There may be air contained by the system.
You will need to bleed the upper air off, and ensure you supply more water to ensure the system is full.
You can purchase float tap that will automatically let the atmosphere out, but you will have to hold a constant water supply to allow hose to automatically refill the system.
Does the circulator need grease? 3 holes on top? Might need to coppers the couple.

Answers:    Circ pumps don't closing forever. It sounds like yours is going out. Call a heat service company. They will probably be cheaper than a plumber and do as good a career.
the coupler between the pump and the motor may be fruitless. its about 10 bucks and pretty unproblematic to fix
