Honeywell thermostat grill? if i have a honeywell thermostat and the current warmth is...

if i have a honeywell thermostat and the current warmth is 79 degrees and i want to hold the temp at around 72 degrees. Is it majority for the thermostat to say "HLD 72" but after 1 or 2 second go to "HLD 79"?

im asking this because i dont know if the A/C is working properly. right presently the fan outside is on and within is air coming through the vent but there hasnt be a big change even after 45 minutes or does it give somebody a lift longer for it to adjust.
What kind of mold can impair humans?
