I have First American Home Warranty. the service guy checked the AC and told it needs replacement. First American agrees to payment for the repair but still wants me to pay $720 that includes authorization, slab, disposal etc... Is this normal? what is the normal cost (parts & labor) if one have to do w/o warranty?

Answers:    Depends on the size of ur unit. A average replacement is $3,500.+if he has to seize permit, disposal.
