My heater not long just moderately blowing heat out. I replaced blower motor 2 years ago up until couple days ago everything be all righteous now my furnace kick on and you can hear the switch make contact but the blower never comes on.
Theres two switches the major switch that once the heater box heat to a certain temp it activate the second swith that turns the blower motor on. I believe this second switch thats wired into the temp control box to turn the blower on has gone fruitless. Is this blower motor switch cheap and does anyone know what i'm talking nearly.
Answers: This is an older furnace? If so you enjoy a Fan/Limit control near the top middle of the furnace, ussually beside an auto manual button. If you push this button within the fan starts, verbs it out and it stops. This control keeps tab on the temperature between the bake exchanger. When the temperature reach a set temperature ussually going on for 120-140 degrees the devotee is energized. When the temperature drops below read out 90-110 degrees the disciple stops.
Stand in front of your furnace and enjoy someone turn the thermostat up, observe what is arranged. Are the burners lighting? do they stay lit for a while then move about out? say a minute or so? This admirer control also checks to make sure the warmth does not exceed 200-220 ish degrees. If the warmth exceeds this then the control cuts the power to the gas spout and shuts down the burners. This is to protect the furnace from burning down the house. At this point there are two possibilities. 1. the hanger-on control is not turning on the fan. 2. The hanger-on is turned on but the motor has inferior. You could at this point take the bottom panel stale and feel the motor. If it is hot it is massively likely the disciple has has-been. Or the fan is fine and the belt is broken or fall off the pully wheel. Good luck.
