Hi i own a wishy-washy wooden floor theres a scuff on it does anyone no how to cover it up.?
it generally depends on the type of floor if its solid u can re sand it and re polish if its laminate u can capture a wax stick and use a lighter to melt the waz into the scrape/scratch fill the hole chisel then let it stir hard the carfully get a stanly spear lay it on edge and gently remove the wax this shoulfd hoard it pretty well but u will need to gain a wax stick of similar colour i do this all the time as im a joiner how about a "throw rug".
Those are both deeply easier than finding/matching the stain of the floor, staining it w/an artists brush, letting it dry overnight & then getting polyurethane of the appropriate gloss & supportively applying that 2 the stain w/an artists brush & doing that 2-3 times, but the complicated way might last longer.
I guess it depends on where on earth the scrape is in relation to foot traffic, & how much endeavour it's worth to you.
Oh yeah, there's light sanding involved past the stain goes on & between poly coats, but really the total time involved is minutes aside from finding materials & waiting for things 2 dry.
Answers: Go to the store and get Pledge scratch remover within the lighter color put sum on a rag and wipe it on it will blend right in.
