It has be clogging up pretty bad, and he think he can fix everything. But the smell in here is horrible and we hold tried everything. I think he put the drano surrounded by there and next put the dishwasher cleaner in too and started it...should i be concerned?
Answers: It's probably clogged because the screen are full of bits of food, cellophane, wrappers, seeds, etc.
First things first. Run the dishwasher several times to acquire rid of the Drano, without ANY dishes contained by it.
Then, take out the racks, pry bad the washing arms, and disassemble the motor housing as far down as you can until you receive to the screens, after clean them adjectives out.
As another thought; you may want to have the plumber rod out the flash under the dishwasher to verbs out any food clogs. If you have a septic system, it may be time to hold it pumped, especially if you're noticing any toilet backup too.
Yikes Thats a bad opinion.Drano will melt the rubber hoses..Run a cycle next to water and soap..NO DRANO!!
