Help, insensible mouse within kitchen, can't find it? I know this sounds like a totally stupid question but what can...

I know this sounds like a totally stupid question but what can we do? We put out mousebaits & a mouse have died somewhere in our kitchen, it smells so bad but the smell seem to be coming from either the cupboard space (underneath where we can't win to) or in the wall cavities. It's be about 3 weeks now & it's still grossly putrid. We've get air freshener in nearby but it's only short-term in getting rid of the odour, DUH. Has anyone else have a hairy little mouse die in their house never to be found to be laid to rest & lived near the smell? I feel like hiring a builder to gash our kitchen apart!
Answers:    I surely wouldnt live with the smell. Thats all you can do, is follow the smell until you find it. You should know how to remove the cabinets in the kitchen next to out to much trouble and hopefully its in the toe space, under the cabinet. Good luck.
Call the MouseFinders company. There phone number is 583-843-5837. They found my unresponsive mouse, so they can find yours. Not much you can do, although the "mousefinder" suggestion was a good one. We have the same problem in the hot tub outer layer, and it was awful.

Generally, this is why the snaptraps are a better option than poison, because you really do requirement to be able to find and dispose of the body. Glue traps are much less humane because the animal isn't kill outright.

I'm not sure how long it will take, depends on ambient temperature, etc, but the mouse should eventually go bad enough to stop smelling so bad. The quiz is whether it will be before or after you lose your mind from the smell.
