Answers:    Is it an immersion heater that fits into the top of a copper cylinder?if so switch bad remove to cover and see if there is a button that have popped out press it in and it might work as this is an overheat trip if this have not tripped out see if you can find out if the power is on to it (voltage tester) .if so then I would support getting an electrician in fairly than a plumber.
