If you have not experience maintain a hot tub it is best to go to your local pool/hot tub supplier and enjoy them teach you prime maintenance.

Absolutely do not use Baquacil or Soft Soak because it will destroy the seal in soft tubs jet. You will first have to adjust your Alkalinity to 80-120ppm. You use Baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) to do this. Next adjust calcium chloride to adjust your toughness level to 250-400ppm. 8 hours after that adjust the pH level of your tub. IT desires to be between 7.2-7.8. Add Chlorine concentrate to initially sanitize the water. Soft tub's assembly prefers Chlorine for some reason. Add the concentrate as needed to hold on to it between 1-3ppm. You can also use a chlorine dispenser with small tablets.
