Help next to a horrid hip bath, repairs? I am moving into a new house and the bath have gone...
I am moving into a new house and the bath have gone a bit rusty around the plug hole. It would appear to be an enamel coated bath. I wondered if anyone knows if this could be repaired. I don't want to spend a huge amount of money and enjoy seen that you can buy repair kits. Does anyone own experience of these kits? do they work? is it hard work?
repair kits do a pretty good post but take your time and follow the instructions
YOU hold 3 options Get it re-coated professionally,Leave it like it is or try the gear. If You can't live with it like it is and cant afford a great deal of money to get it done what do you have to lose.
As long as you are for a moment bit handy and follow the instructions try the Do it yourself way first. bit of a humdinger of a problem. i'd give the repair tackle a shot first.
Answers: Buy a small tin of white enamel paint, and using a small brush similar to a childs sculpture brush, carefully paint around the plug hole with at smallest 2 coats of enamel paint. Make sure the surface is completely dry before painting.
