my new spray lighter wont light
(and i only just refilled it) and it's brand unsullied (there's something wrong with the spark hose item how do i fix it???
Answers:    Step one: make sure that you hold used a good aspect butane (Ronson is horrible for lighters). Dunhill, Colibri, Corona, etc. are good. I don't know how masses lighters I have "fixed" by empty out Ronson and putting in something better.

Step two: consent to the lighter warm up after satisfying. The butane is under pressure and innards a lighter with it cause a chilling sensitivity, the butane will not flow properly until it is warm. Putting it within a pocket for a few minutes usually does the trick. (This is also the cause of "my lighter doesn't work when it have been gone in my cold motor all night", etc.)

Step three: Is in that truly no spark, or is the spark simply not hitting where it wishes to? Use caution here since the above tips may enjoy fixed your issue and you might be about to singe your eyebrows. The spark should be hitting somewhere on the nozzle and not on the side of the baggage. You can carefully reroute the point of the spark if it isn't where it requests to be.

Step four: Is there a loud hissing when you try to oil lamp it? If so you might just stipulation to turn the flow down. If the gas is coming out too fast the spark isn't powerful plenty to light it. The converse is also true, if you hear nothing and another lighter doesn't lighting the gas either you may inevitability to turn it up.

Step five: If there is no spark at adjectives, take it subsidise. The insides of a lighter are full of springs and little fiddly bits that are a pain to carry back into place. If the lighter is untried and something has already come loose, you are better rotten getting another one.

Reflections on lighter brands and their quality: Colibri lighters are normally touchy and unreliable. Prometheus are usually good, though a few models hold issues. ImCorona lighters are amazing, especially their "old boy" style. Dunhill lighters are the best, or second best, I enjoy 30 year old Dunhills that pallid first time, every time. Dupont also makes the best, or second best, but the refill are tricky and expensive.

Hope this helps.
