ok so my roof is leaking and i cant put a tarp on it cuz its blowing sturdy out there but hose is dripping from the cealing
and its getting worse i have plans to travel up there today
so do you enjoy any ideas how to stay out of danger if a big gust of wind comes im 15 and rather nerves lol
Answers: You need to run inside the attic to see where the overrun is coming from. Keep your feet on the rafter. Take a flashlight and a 5 gallon bucket and a plank of wood about 24 inches within length and 8 inches in size. Find the point where the sea is dripping. Lay the plank across the rafters. Put the bucket on the plank to capture the water. Drain the bucket as needed.
Now find where on earth the water is coming contained by at. When the weather outside improves, step up there and tarmacadam it in. I'll bet the ooze is occuring around the flashing over vent pipes.
Be carefull not to slip, wear non-slip shoes and use hands to keep hold of yourself steady!! I actually fixed my elderly neighbours roof closing night as leak, he had a couple of cracked tiles
