HELP! How do I keep hold of a bathroom door locked? My bathroom has 2 doors, one that lead to the hallway...

My bathroom has 2 doors, one that lead to the hallway and the other that lead to a bedroom. They both are supposed to lock from the inside for privacy. The previous owners of my house had put a screw within the little hole in the doorknob from the bedroom door that lead to the bathroom. Now the lock doesn't work properly. I don't want the door to be used from either side so I can I save this door permanently locked...or at lowest possible have it so that it can't unseal from the bedroom side (blocking the door is not an option).
