I am so nervous! I bought a unknown house and moved in mid Feb. It be very mild since next so I made it through to summer weasily. Within this time I have notice the house has super crap window. Since I can't replace the windows and my bedroom have 2 outside walls, what can I do just to capture through this winter? any ideas? I also hear that ceramic space heaters run channel better, any truth? any general heat/staying reheat suggestions rock!
Thanks!
Answers:    Well there is a complete host of things you can do, for starters can you reach your window for outside? If you can, you can buy a cheap caulk gun and some outdoor caulk and caulk every crease in your window, when you do that with a drizzling finger smooth the caulk down in cracks to build sure it get surrounded by it and it looks nice. On the inside you can buy window-plastic and cover your window, the kit come with double sided cassette and you just use a coat dryer to shrink it, if you don't have any other use for a fleece dryer you can usually get one at a thrift store material cheap. This may sound getto but you can also put blankets over the plastic covered window for extra insulation. Also the Radiator type space heater works all right and are safe when plugged into a wall outlet. Also you can take insulation for your wall outlets and they are easy to install as all right. I hope I helped you!!!
