Okay, here is my delimma, upon living in this townhouse for individual 1 month, our electric bill is over $300. I have complained surrounded by person 3x and by phone 2x give or take a few the lack of heat on cold days/nights.No one has still come out to check our section. It blows cooler air even when set on 74-75.....So presently we have this big bill and I want to ask for the tenant to pay partly. Does anyone know if I can demand this officially??? My hubby says no and say let it shift but why should I? It has be this way since we moved within and we just thought it would go and get better once we were adjectives unpacked and settled and got use to anyone here BUT no, it hasn't changed. We have done our slice as far as energy positive so I know the bill is mainly from the heat issues. What can I do?

Answers:    First you need to find out if at hand is a problem with the heat unit.
Does anyone rent solar panel?
If you can show documentation for the times you tried to contact your tenant about heat issues, you may be able to return with some relief surrounded by small claims court. Other than that, you don't have much of a destiny of getting any help near the bill.
