well i merely bought a new thermostat for my furnace we installed it presently it wont work.go digit.but anyways i think slice of the reason could be because the pilot table lamp is lit but not getting a big flame to heat it up?so possibly could it be the thermo couple?i dont know much going on for this but is it hard to install a thermo couple?gratefulness
Answers:    The thermocouple is a small rod-shaped unit that extends into the pilot flame. If the flame is too small it will not fully engulf the finishing of the themocouple. Adjust the pilot higher contained by this case. There should be a spout with a screwdriver slot on the small gas pipe to the pilot to do that. If the flame is ok but the pilot keep going out, you need a fresh thermocouple. It is simple to change. Usually merely a small clamp on the flame end and a brass fitting on the differing end to remove/replace. If the pilot stays lit it is not a thermocouple problem. Make sure the major gas valve is set to "On", not "Pilot". If adjectives is in decree then you may hold wired the new thermostat incorrectly.
