We have a nice wood burning fireplace contained by our livingroom. When burn a log, normally, its fine and the smoke go up and out as it should. However, if our heater is on the smoke get sucked into the intake and pushed out throughout the house and the house fills up beside smoke. The intake vent is on the floor in the corridor which is about 14' away from the fireplace but at hand are no obsticles in between (clear shot). I would appreciate any counsel I've never heard of this up.
Answers: you have to cover the intake/return within that room and it should fix it
me neither your going to have to call for a fireplace expert on that one or your local fire department they will come right out it should not be happeneing in your home when you bought the home did they mention this.
