Heat Pump Installation?
I recently bought a newer, off-brand warmness pump system from a guy that had it surrounded by storage and never hooked it up. It was such other I couldn't turn it down. The problem is that I know nothing roughly speaking how to hook one up, and what is needed. What I got be the unit that sits outside and the a/c coil. We enjoy an upflow propane furnace. My question: Is here any additional parts that I'm undersupplied to join one to the other? (aside from the unconcealed wiring and tubing) Thanks for your time. Dan
Answers: You are going to entail a thermostat that is compatible beside heat pumps, if you use a standard thermostat next all you enjoy is an A/C unit because it won't integrate the bake pump with the furnace. I would outstandingly recommend hiring someone to professionally install it. You will also need to buy the copper lines from a wholesaler because they are not sized equal as water lines and cannot be bought at local stores. Also you will necessitate a silfloss for brazing the lines, they should never be soldered, they are under too lofty of pressure.
call a pro if you enjoy never done it before. You also entail to be licensed to start it up any way and fiddle with the refrigerant. He technically was not permitted to sell it to someone who is not licensed, but no you don't involve to much more besides some small parts to complete the installation.
