Is it done the same as a regular home? Or is installing it different?
Answers: There is no difference. You may own to replace the plywood under the shingles, but this is done adjectives the time. The reason you may hold to replace the plywood is, if there be a leak, manufacured homes usually own chip board which swells when wet.
Otherwise, a shingled roof is a shingled roof.
Bare is right on. We did ours second summer. Strip off the older and put on the new. We did replace the skylights next to double pane glass. The original were plastic and at the bring to a close of their lives. We took the old roofing sour ourselves and had a roofer put the contemporary stuff on. There is a ton or so of old roofing to appropriate to the landfill and lots of staples. They used large staples to install the imaginative roof. I am still picking them up. They sell a roofing shovel at Home Depot for around $25 that makes the removal smooth. One thing, when they deliver the new roofing they started out not man too carefull loading it on the roof. I had to slow them down a bit. They be shaking the whole house.
