Had a resourcefully drilled contained by my patio. When spout is friendly, pump clicks on and stale every few second. Is this regular?
Answers: Could be, likely not. You told us zilch about your pump system so we can't make clear to you much.
Most well dampen systems have a pressure reservoir and the pressure will vary by 20 to 30 lbs between runs, resembling 40-60 or 50-80lbs and those are a little adjustable.
So a "normal" element would run much much longer.
Could be IF a pressure tank is near, it is bad and full of hose, no air.
But if it is basically an on demand section or something like that and no container then possibly normal.
How are we to know? We don't know what is here.
Nope, it's not a good item for the pump to cycle so much. It is hard on the start system, and will shorten the natural life of your pump motor. Call a professional plumber and have him look at the heavens bladder in your reservoir. Possibilities are it needs to be recharged near air, or the reservoir replaced.
