We opened our pool to find the cover fell in and a million leaves fell surrounded by. We cleaned what we could shocked it and it went crystal clear for about a light of day. We started removing the organics from the bottom we missed, and the water went cloudy. We added clairifier. The sea still didn't clear so we added a ton of Algae Distroyer. Now my water is green. (it was not green beforehand the algae distroyer) We've added more shock, clairifyer and nothing helps. We've changed the filter every other daytime. I'm at a loss. Should I shock it again or could this be a chemical level issue? Its a small pool only 4 foot, but I would hate to drain it this late contained by the season.
Answers: Shock it one more time. You may have over algae kill it which kills all the chlorine surrounded by the pool. Let it go for a couple days and then shock it again.
