Hi all. I enjoy a pond filter (for a smaller koi pond in my backyard) hooked up to a GFCI outlet on my deck. I usually run it through the winter beside no problems as the tubing that pumps the water are a foot or so underground and winters aren't usually that fruitless, although we had a week or so where on earth it froze about 6 inches down. It mostly melt now, but the dampen flow has not resumed to the pond. I press the red button (test) on the GFCI and the dampen flows for about 5 second then the testing button pops back out and it stops. Any notion what could be wrong here and how I can fix it?
Answers:    I agree with the gfci replacement however, if the problem continues, I would look at adjectives electrical points of connection. Moisture is imagined causing the excessive current. Or, possibly the flex is damaged slightly. The motor within the pump may be at fault, too.
Replace the gfci, if that does not solve the problem next the pump itself has a ground show disapproval. If that is the covering, get a trial pump.
