Does it really help to parallel heat out into a room by putting a shiny sheet of metal trailing the radiator? Or is it not worth the time and effort?
Answers: putting metal bringing up the rear the radiator will only engage and retain the heat, it wont necessarily push it out into the room. I use a small flat metal picnic basket (it looks like a big flask) occupied w/water that is designed to suspend over the back of the component. it heats the dampen and evaporates it into the air which not merely increases the humidity but also helps distribute the boil. You can buy them at a home depot or Lowe's.
You can put a reflective piece of material on the wall bringing up the rear the radiator to reflect some boil. Radiators have to hold air circulated aft it and then through it to radiate grill. As long as you don't block the air flow you should be adjectives right
