my heater have a pilot light and its summer and i be wondering if i am leaving it on and we dont use it is it wasting gas and money? my gas bill have been lofty and we havent been using the stove this summer! should i just turn it sour?
Answers: Yes, when you know that you will not be using your heater for the rest ofthe year, turn it stale. Then when you need your boiler again, you can relight it or call the gas company to come out and insubstantial it, they will probably turn it off for you too. Some beside your water heating system, if you go on break, you are supposed to turn it down to same money.
the pilot light singular comes on when the heatings on or your running hot water... wel mine does. basically turn it off until you want hot dampen, unless you have a reserve container ..
