My gas fireplace flames don't get immensely high. The flames scarcely reach the top of the logs and there's just any yellow flame so you can hardly tell that it's on--so much for creating a cozy atmosphere. The gas splash is turned up as high as it go and comes directly from the main pipe. There are no other valve outside of the firebox that can be turned and the fireplace valve is turned adjectives the way up. Any planning? Do I need to buy a unmarked insert? How can I get more ashen flame?
Answers:    A service man can adjust the air control lever which is located losing the burner. At the same time they can check to clear sure your gas line have no leaks. We only just had this done and within is a huge difference. The flames are a brighter orange and the peak are a lot taller compared to earlier, they were amazingly low and blue. Call a service man to do this. You should also do an annual inspection which includes cleaning to prolong the life of your fireplace. No entail to get a alien one.
