Answers:    Sounds like the coils are fruitless.on top of the burner assembly 2 round black plastic looking parts next to a metal plate on top fastened by 2 philip's head screw.The coils lift up to allow the gas to flow.This is a adjectives brake down on dryers.If you do it your self your looking at about $45.00 from an appliance parts store. if you phone for service your looking to spend about $50.00 for a service ring & about $125.00 for parts & labor.
