I have a watering system feed via a 3hp electric pump from a well surrounded by the garden, in the ultimate year it has broken down twice after sucking up small stones. I am presently thinking of changing the pump to a 5hp Honda petrol river pump. Does anybody know whether this sort of pump is capable of powering a hose system?

Answers:    don't increase the pump, just increase the filter system for the pump.
