my garbage disposal isn't draining and its sending stuff vertebrae into my sink. what should I do? are there any tools i can use to fix it myself.
Answers: If you look underneath the sink you will see a pipe coming from the scrap disposal which joins the sink drain (if you enjoy a double sink). Right after it joins nearby is a U shaped P-trap. If the non-disposal sink is not clogged at all it is surrounded by the pipe that joins the disposal to the P-Trap. The drain pipes are impressively easy to disassemble - recurrently just foot tight. The drain pipe that connects to the disposal is attached with a couple of screw. There will be a clog in the pipes that you can slickly clean out. Put a bucket lower than it before disassembling as doesn`t matter what water is contained by the sink will drain out. Pay attention to how it comes apart and just put it stern together the same agency.
cut the Maine circuit breaker that controls power to your disposal. you will need a pipe wrench and gloves and a bucket. The sea line should run from drain on first sink down and straight across into the scrap disposal. You will need to pocket the line loose at the fundamental sink then unattache the connector to the straight pipe that runs into the disposal, this should go you about six or eight inches of pipe sticking out of disposal. but place bucket lower than area back you remove pipes or what ever has it stopped up is going to spill out underneath your sink, use a flash light and look into pipe if you don't see anything, try running hose through sink and into bucket. Other than this I don't know how to help, it's the solely thing i can ponder of, but I'm a DIY person so not a pro. You may also want to try Drano.
