Pilot light keep going out when you turn thermostat down, can I fix it? What could be causing it?
Answers: It could be a dirty pilot or the thermocouple could be going fruitless. If that doesn't fix it you will need a repairman. For more info including a troubleshooting guide, check out the furnace page at my source.
When turning on the pilot muted you need to push it and hold it down for approximately 2 minutes or so, after lighting it.
