A year ago I installed a programmable electronic thermostat for our natural gas furnace. I own it programmed to cool the house at night and reclaim energy. When it it set to heat up in the morning, the furnace devotee runs, then shuts past its sell-by date for only 45 second before starting again. During the heat up up period, shouldn't the furnace devotee run continuously until it reaches the set warmth?
Is your furnace a newer elevated efficiency?
If so the blower you hear running is to purge the fire chamber previously firing up.
If it's a newer big efficiency furnace it may be using a untried energy positive technique I have be calling "cycling"
I noticed matching sort of thing on a trial electric stove we bought. When we have a burner on large heat, the electricity is cycled on and rotten at a specific rate. It takes smaller number power to achieve impossible to tell apart amount of heat from the feature.
Your furnace may be set to utilize the same technique.
Answers: call your service tech and hold it checked out because likely it can't be fixed by the average joe, it could be something near the time delay
Does it just do this once and start rear legs up and stay on ?
