I'm trying to change my furnace blower motor it have a 240 volts motor and I found a 120 volt motor with indistinguishable speed do I need special electrics, change any entity or I just replace the motor

Answers:    The just problem you may have is the existing rope size. To run the same RPM near the same power next to half the voltage you entail twice the current. That may be too much current for your existing wire size.
