I have a gas smell when you bearing into my apartment. I just disconnected the stove from the gas procession. So will the smell go away? Is that more precarious in starting a fire next to the gas line by itself? I'm purely trying to be careful until I can seize the gas company here tomorrow. Is there anything else I should know of? Or do?
Answers:    it may be that you are smelling unburned gas from the pilot lights on your stove. this is adjectives on older stoves. shouldn't be anything to verbs about, but it won't hurt to own it checked by the gas company
It sounds like you are smelling natural un-burned gas. An odorant (unpleasant smell) called Mercaptan is injected into Natural Gas and LPG to be capable of detect leaks. Possibly the gas spout is leaking and you could be wadding your place with gas, This is markedly dangerous. You should bring out until the gas company can get within and correct the problem.
