I beleive I have a frost free fridge. Heres the issue. I enjoy ice forming contained by the top of the fridge. Also I have a bunch of river in the bottom of the fridge. There is a small hose that runs down the hindmost of the frdige and I believe this is supposed to drain the water into a tray at the drastically bottom. The only problem is... my hose stops partially way down at this little mantelpiece. I dont think this sill (sticks out about 1/2 inch from the final of the fridge) has anything to do beside catching the water. even if it did... its bent. Anyway, the hose looks close to someone cut it (I rent and the fridge came near the apartment.) I have the hose shoved surrounded by a bottle so if this is where the hose down is coming from... it wont make a mess. Has anyone have this problem? I dont want to call the proprietor for somthing I could fix myself
Answers: If you have rime forming in a frost free fridge, after you probably have any a bad defrost timer, a desperate heater thing, or a bad thermal cutout (I've other heard them referred to by the brand mark "klixon"). The line you see is probably a disconnected marine line for your rime maker. The drain within the bottom of the fridge is probably stopped up. The ice problem will stipulation to be addressed by a repairman or skilled handyman.
am not to shure what you aim but i had duplicate sort of problem i cleaned the tube out because it was blocked and simply emptyed the tray i could have a look at mine if you want
