Fridge freezer not going cold? my fridge freezer has just stopped working not going cold and not...

my fridge freezer has just stopped working not going cold and not freezing,in that was a noise that sounded as if here was water running i thought I don`t know it was auto defrost so defrosted it fully and later switched it back on and it is still making the same nouns and not going cold at all is it something that can be fixed or is it dead also i enjoy noticed there is a small bit of mischief to the interior of the freezer could this be anything to do with it as there is no wrong to the fridge interior, thanks
there should be a pit somewhere where you can controll the numbers (degrees) look for it and turn it low

Its making the same sounds, so the power and the motor is running.

So its not a simple fix to restore power.

Sounds like the bit of devastate has broke it, probably cost as much to repair as to replace.
Answers:    Your fridge needs an expensive repair, it any has liquid gas trapped contained by the system or it has been running extraordinarily hot and boiled the oil in the compressor after pushed it round the system, either way it wants at least a re-gas but I would scrap it if it is a cheap or matured one. If you call out one of the cowboys they will put slightly more gas in it, it will probably work for a couple of days/weeks later it will pack up. They will charge you probably lb80 for a re-gas but most will not repair it properly and at the moment there are so many bargain in the shops. You also mention a small bit of damage surrounded by the freezer, if this is a stab mark from a carving knife defrost it,it is beyond repair.
