Hi,

I have an extreamley prime HotPoint unit. For a while immediately i have notice that the freezer seems to of late be loosing some of its kick. Its cold ample to keep rime frozen, but things like waffle, ice cream est... are mush!

As far as i can report to the compressor is coming on, and there is cold nouns blowing out of the vent in the freezer... There is simply one temp control which is in the fridge element and no matter what setting i put it on its in the region of the same result. I've also notice that things in the fridge are not as cold.

Is in attendance anything i can do? Its not an old fridge, psyche hate to own to get ride of it.

Answers:    Could be that it requests more coolant. For this you will need the proper tools to know for sure. Call a serviceman.
What does duty cycle have it in mind,...
Faulty thermostat (easy and cheap to replace) or cooling system losing its charge (unlikely but will want a refrigeration engineer to percolate test, fix if basic and recharge).

If it's the thermostat it's worth repairing. If it's the charge it's probably cheaper to buy a new 'fridge.
