Fixing crypt ceiling beside jacks....? How much would it cost to fix a support in the underground...

How much would it cost to fix a support in the underground store with a jack? The foundation of the house is fine but the one support roof joist is sinking and we want to know how much it would be to fix it......
Do dropped ceiling stockpile me any money?
Answers:    As long as the support beam is not rotted, you should know how to support it with a roof beam support. You can buy them at Home Depot for under $30. Just place the support, and turn the screw to support the roof beam.

I would look into why the beam is sinking, though. Correct that problem also, if you can.
