My fiance and I inherited a Heywood Wakefield table and didn't know that you couldn't use Pledge (the ginger oil one). We have one meal in attendance and used place settings but when we removed the settings a week later, we notice the areas were adjectives white. It looks like the finish is past its sell-by date right down to the grain.
Is within a way to fix this? We ruminate we are going to have to completely sand it and refinish.

You are correct. You will hold to redo the complete table to insure a nice job. they enjoy strippers that you can apply with a paint brush and merely basically wipe it away. A lot of work yes, but the results will be worth it
