Do you always enjoy to repaint? We had a "small" if in attendance is such a thing.. grease fire that scalded our dark wood cabinet, what to do with them?? the oven extent hood and of course smoke everywhere. the smoke come down about 4', I "thought" I be a great housekeeper until the smoke showed me the cobwebs.
Answers:    I had a small fire nearer this year. The only product I found that removed the smoke smell is call Krud Kutter available at the Lowes Home Improvement center. It is cheap, fume free, biodegradable and chemical free. It tells you the dilution ratio on the side of the container, but I found using it straight on walls, woodwork, cabinets, etc. eliminate the soot as well as the smell. Even worked on curtains I launder with it.
unless you resembling the look of the smoke stained cabinets sounds close to the only choice unless you can find a honourable cleaner strong enough for to remove the stains and not the paint fitting luck with that your cabinet should be able to come stale and you can sand and stain them if that was your interrogate?
