Our boiler is making a strange buzzing noise when the burners are trying to fire up. It does eventually fire up but solitary after three or four attempts. It has be doing this for a couple of days now and I'm wondering if it will lay waste to the boiler if I continue to use it. Any concept what's going on here folks?

Answers:    Its either the gas stopcock or the ignition relay in the circuit board,it wont bring any further damage to the boiler.The not working component could last for months,but eventually it will pack within.Best to get a corgi registered heat engineer to repair it.
