Exterior House Painters? We're getting our house painted on Monday & my husband & I...
We're getting our house painted on Monday & my husband & I will be away at work all day. The painter said they won't be finished for a week or two. I REALLY don't want to give them a key to our house, because why would they call for to go in anyway bar to use the bathroom. Does anyone know if it's required to give them a key?
I know this sounds resembling a stupid question but this is our first home & we've very investigational to everything.
You shouldn't own to. They may need to get contained by to remove screens and storm windows (if you enjoy them) but otherwise should be fine.
no unquestionably not if they need to use the rest room let them budge to the gas station . when I'm working on the outside I would never dream of asking the home owner for a key when there away . if in that working on the inside that could be a different story depending on how comfortable you feel about them as a rule my customers/clients consistency very comfortable with me but at hand again I only leave what I come with some are not so honest A week or 2 sounds fairly long unless they hold a lot of prep work(scrapeing/sanding/filling/etc) If they spray it shouldn't take more that 2 days to spray and cut within on a 4000 sq ft all wood house). They want inside to cool off/make drinks/have lunch ,watch tv,etc. If you own a safe its no big deal.
Answers: No they don't need a key. If they do the chore write it will take two weeks.Maybe longer. If they spray the house ask how many coats at hand going to put on.Then ask for a warranty on the job.The paint comes with 10 to 15 year warranty. If the wont warranty nearby work for 10 years get a new painter.
