Exhaust Fan broken?

today we started hearing a slow, low, rotational odd sound contained by the house. we cannot tell where on earth its coming from... if i listen with my ear to the wall, it is emphatically something internal because it is easy to hear close to that. could this be an exhaust fan within the attic or on the roof? why would it all of a sudden start making that nouns? is there anything to verbs about? gratitude
Answers:    Well... if it is a powered attic vent, it could be a bearing, motor, or even rime build-up. Or the stack could have gotten dented, and the disciple blade might be rubbing on the housing. Ive seen adjectives of these situations.

IF you have a powered vent, it is probably on its own circuit contained by the panel box. Locate that and turn it off. Then grasp it replaced as soon as possible. Those things are there to hang on to moisture from building up in the attic space.

If you are surrounded by a mobile home, your best bet is to contact your local dealer give or take a few having a replacement installed...the businessman will have the specs on the part your home has, and can ship a modern one out in most cases.

By the channel, in a mobile home, these unit are usually accessed from over the roof, by removing the stack. Only takes a few minutes to replace one.

If the motor or bearing are bad, consequently there is a possibility it could appropriate, and overheat...perhaps shorting out, or even catching fire. Check the circuit box... if you dont see one labeled Attic or Vent, afterwards try shutting the power off, breaker by breaker, and see when the roar stops.

Another possible source is your central furnace section. Could be the blower motor or fan pose going bad.

Good Luck
Not sure this will backing.......do you have turbin vent on your roof? If so it sounds like the bearing are bad and you have need of to have the turbine vent replaced. If you have a power attic vent the motor may be going impossible. Remember there nouns in the attic is usually 30 to 40 degree hotter then it is outside on hot days. That reap havic on electric motors. But what you described sounds like a turbine vent that discouraging. If so buy one at a roofing supply with a lifetime hermetically sealed bearing warranty.
