i have a baxi bermuda gas fire and every time it fires up adjectives the teles in the house go funny. i get squigerly lines adjectives across the picture. can you please tell me the point for this happening
I will assume it have a motor on it. Motors can give rotten frequencies that affect your picture. If you have a cable that runs effective the fire see if you can get some distance or upgrade the cable to the subsequent size bigger. If they are on antennas/rabbit ears not much you can do but shut it down.

Is the gas fire controlled by a thermostat or some sort of electrical circuit?

If so, you probably own some sort of interference between the control circuit and the tele. There may be some part, relay, igniter, etc. i.e. generating spurious frequencies that may be interacting next to the televisions.
Answers:    Ground your Antenna/cable organize.......Fire is ignited near a spark ignighter that interferes with the picture's modulation
