Electricity go out surrounded by with the sole purpose a few rooms surrounded by my house after a storm but didn't trip the circuit breaker what to
Answers: Breakers that have tripped involve to be re-set. They must be turned off since they can be turned back on. It's > drastically rare < but you could hold lost a leg of power to your electric service or half of your leading breaker has bungled. Does your range work? Dryer? If not you own lost a leg of power. Lightning strikes can do weird things.
Check adjectives your breakers by turning each one stale and then final on. Do this with the prime breaker as well. Some chief breakers are in an outside panel. I hold 400 amp service and both of my mains are outside.
If that doesn't work later you will need to nickname an electrician. One of your breakers has fully or to a certain extent failed and will call for to be replaced.
Thumbs down or not... I bet I'm right.
your safest option is to hold an electrician look over everything. Lightening is a ***** and those circuit breakers in your house are not made to switch it. It can do some odd things to the breakers and electric wiring that you would not ever normally see start.
I have worked on several buildings that have thier electrical systems invaded by lightening so I am speaking from experience.
