My workplace has bay for vehicle parking. The garage doors open beside remotes, and each door have an on/off switch that deactivates the automatic door close-the doors stay open when the switch is turned bad (and will close in 5 minutes after the switch is turned on). People forget to turn the switches fund on, and the doors are sometimes left stretch out at night (not good).

What I want to know is - is at hand a company that makes a timer switch that, when the timer is activate, has a closed circuit (rather than an sympathetic circuit)? That way, we could install timers to some extent than on/off switches, and we wouldn't have to verbs about population forgetting the switch - when the timer runs out, the circuit would be "open," and the garage doors would close.

Thanks for your assist!
Answers:    your opener have a timer in it that activate the close circuit after 5 minutes. the on/off switch deactivates this times so you can leave the door instigate longer than the 5 minutes. that on/off switch is highly recommended if a timer closes the door.if i realize your question correctly and you want to articulate make sure the door closes at 9pm if it's unequivocal, yes this is easily done provided you enjoy commercial openers. these are usually identified by an open/close/stop pushbutton rather than a doorbell type button close to at your house. any timer designed to turn on an appliance or light will close a contact when activate. in a nutshell, plug contained by the timer and have it involved a relay. hook one side of the relay contact to common within the pushbutton station and the other side to close. when the timer activates, the door will close. i would go off the on/off switch in place, the things i described above will not interfere. if you want, i can clear a drawing and give you a parts register, email me if you want it . you're prolly looking at about $50 contained by parts.
