you had a surge for sure; find an electrician out there to check things.
This could be a MAJOR issue. You may hold either a impossible hot wire or desperate neutral. Either one is discouraging and could result in chief damage to your household items. I have a neighbor blow out just going on for every electric/electronic thing within his house because of a bad dull at the main box.
Call your power company to enjoy them check it for you. (At least they can notify you if it is on their side or yours)
Answers: If it is adjectives over the house and not in purely one area, you are probably looking at a problem contained by your panel. You may have a burned lug and will requirement an electrician to replace it. Your utility company will not do this for you. Call an electrician right away.
Also you may want to unplug the important electronics surrounded by the house like TVs, computers, microwaves ... anything that have a clock or memory in it. These surges can smash up the units.
